taking up space

Sometimes looking back on a month feels like you’re looking back on a whole year. April was long and full of challenges as well as really great moments.

My work became more about taking up space, which now I can see is congruent with the season. Spring is about emerging, blooming, expanding, and our bodies are ready to move, to peel layers. The newest works are physical in the movement and physical in the labour. Spring calls for a lot of physical labour.
